Who We Are
OUN Foundation is a new initiative born from OUN Developers, created to inspire and equip the next generation of designers, architects, and creative thinkers.
We are starting right here in the heart of Port Harcourt, working with junior and senior secondary school students to give them hands-on exposure to architecture, design, and modeling.
Though we are just beginning our journey, our vision is bold — to open the world of design to young talents, spark their creativity, and build pathways for them to turn ideas into real, impactful projects.

What We Do
01.
— School Outreach & Inspiration Sessions
We visit secondary schools to spark curiosity about architecture, design, and urban planning. Through interactive talks, visual presentations, and live demonstrations, students see how design impacts their communities.
02.
— Hands-On Design & Modeling Workshops
Students learn the basics of architectural drawing, structural concepts, and digital 3D modeling. We provide step-by-step training on software and physical modeling tools so they can bring their ideas to life.
03.
— Creative Problem Solving Challenges
We host design competitions where students work in teams to solve real community design problems like reimagining a playground, redesigning a classroom, or creating eco-friendly shelters.
04.
— Mentorship & Career Guidance
Each student gains access to experienced mentors who guide them on academic pathways, industry expectations, and skill development for a career in architecture or engineering.
05.
— School Project Support
We collaborate with schools to integrate mini-architecture projects into their academic year—helping students apply what they’ve learned to beautify and improve their school environments.
06.
— Internship Opportunities for Graduates
Students who excel are offered internships with our partner organizations, where they work on real projects, build portfolios, and gain valuable workplace experience.
Impact Stories
Blessing Tamuno – Age 15, Senior Secondary 1
Blessing had never heard of architectural modeling until our first school visit. She joined our one-day trial workshop and created a model of a “dream classroom” with more light and open spaces. Seeing her idea take shape gave her confidence she never had in academics. She now says she wants to study architecture after graduation.
Chima Okoro – Age 16, Senior Secondary 2
Chima was known in school for his neat handwriting and love for art. When OUN Foundation visited his class, he quickly picked up basic floor plan drawing skills. By the end of our 2-day session, he had designed a small garden layout for his school’s assembly ground — and his teachers are now planning to make it a reality.
